Toddler, Pre School, Pre-K, and K-1 Classroom Programs
This program includes general education and developmental education services for
children 18 mo to 7 years of age. This is a year round program covering the hours of
7:30am to 5:30pm, with core preschool services provided from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The
program addresses all skill areas through a combination of 1:1, small group, and
classroom instruction.

Services
North Star's General Education services are provided by North Star staff that are
qualified to provide early childhood education instruction and care. Curriculum consists
of developmentally and academically appropriate activities for each age
group.
North Star's Developmental Education services are provided to children who have been
diagnosed with a developmental disability ranging from Autism Spectrum Disorders to
Down's Syndrome. Including but not limited Developmental Therapy, Intensive Behavior
Intervention, Family Training, and Consultation.
North Star's General Education services are provided by North Star staff that are
qualified to provide early childhood education instruction and care. Curriculum consists

Tuition
Tuition and fees vary depending on the programs and services selected
for each child. Fees for various services are based on competitive rates
for the area or on Medicaid reimbursement rates, established by the
Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Look for new information to
be posted about our scholarships for fall 2010!

Food Program
North Star provides a full food program starting with breakfast, lunches that meet the
USDA requirements, and afternoon healthy snacks! Our food program is included in our
tuition and provided by our very own cook, Pam!

North Star provides child care services for children of all abilities, from 18 mo to 7 years
of age. The inclusive center is licensed as a Developmental Disabilities Agency, and
licensed as a Child Care facility from the city of Coeur d'alene.
